About Me
I'm an iOS engineer and product builder who cares about making technology feel simple, intentional, and human. My background includes work on large-scale experiences like messaging systems, on-device AI, animations, and performance optimization. I focus on clarity rather than complexity. I like moving from observation to prototype quickly, validating ideas with real interaction rather than assumptions. Collaboration across platforms and disciplines has been a consistent part of my work, and I enjoy shaping systems that feel unified rather than stitched together. Along the way, I've learned that thoughtful trade-offs matter more than idealized architecture, and that great products come from paying attention not just to how something works, but how it feels. I'm exploring personal apps and AI-enhanced experiences, aiming to build tools that quietly make everyday life a little better.

Professional Experience Highlights
On-Device AI Agents – Linetic AI
Building transparent, locally-running AI agents for finance applications. Focused on explainability and auditability in regulated contexts, making complex reasoning pipelines clear and trustworthy.
AI Integration for Messaging – WhatsApp
Built shared element transitions and cross-device animations for Meta AI in WhatsApp. Implemented dynamic rendering with performance fallbacks for low-end devices, ensuring smooth UX across the device spectrum while meeting tight executive demo timelines. The feature enables users to interact with AI-powered image generation and chat assistance directly within WhatsApp conversations. Announced in WhatsApp's official Meta AI launch.
Swift Language Migration – Facebook
Led machine learning module refactoring project, contributing 0.6% to the overall 2.7% Swift adoption rate in the organization—the second-highest contribution across the org. While the current adoption rate is still a step toward the 15% target, the experience and insights gained will play a key role in accelerating Swift adoption in the future.
Client-Side ML for Content Ranking – Facebook
Collected ML model's training data from variety signals and passed decision tree model to determine which ads to show. Optimized client-side inference for improved ad ranking latency and reduced backend compute load.
Ad Integration Architecture – Facebook
Architected communication manager between UI and ads flow, enabling seamless integration of new ad formats while maintaining backward compatibility and performance standards.
User Feedback Collection System – Facebook
Calculated ad component exposure to user based on dwell time and percentage of UI visible, triggering surveys at optimal moments. Improved feedback collection quality while minimizing user disruption.
Content Safety Optimization – Facebook
Optimized networking payload with 2-step approach to passing the blocklist, reducing data transfer overhead while maintaining real-time brand safety protection across ad serving infrastructure. Featured in Ad Age's coverage on Facebook's brand safety solutions.
Cross-Platform Document Sharing – WhatsApp
Led cross-functional development of document forwarding with caption support, enabling users to add context and explanations when sharing documents like articles and work files. Built the feature across iOS, Android, and Web platforms, coordinating backend, design, and frontend teams using Protobuf standardization. This became the foundation for future messaging features. Officially announced in WhatsApp's official blog.
Message Reactions – WhatsApp
Expanded WhatsApp's emoji reactions from 5 default options to support the entire emoji keyboard with 3,600+ emojis. Built the "+" button interface allowing users to access any emoji including all skin tone variations. This update transformed how users express emotions in conversations, moving from limited preset reactions to full keyboard flexibility. Featured in Emojipedia's World Emoji Day announcement and TechCrunch.
